Bob Taft to welcome participants and launch the Ohio Capital Fund:
The Ohio Capital Fund Seed & Early Stage Summit is an opportunity to learnabout the importance of, and current state of, venture capital in Ohio. Participants will hear from venture capitalists who have raised funds and invested in Ohio-based companies. They will also learn about The Ohio Capital Fund and how it aims to increase venture capital investments in Ohio.
Ohio Governor Bob Taft will welcome participants and launch The Ohio Capital Fund at a featured luncheon. A series of keynote speakers will then speak to the history and future of venture capital.

"Irnonic"? Were you thinking "ironic" or "moronic" or both at once? Because it is both! If I were a venture capitalist, Ohio would be the last place I'd be thinking about investing until its political "leaders" showed some will and determination to clean up the corruption mess.

Taft demoted an Ohio Highway patrol Lt. for visiting an adult club in NY citing ethics violations. Wow! That's the pot calling the kettle black.

I have a great bumper sticker that reads "Be careful out there - You get the politicians you vote for."
I think I'm going to invest in a bunch of "Tim Hagan was right" tshirts, and sell them to help provide assistance to workers who are in mandatory job training for BWC.
Did you know that BWC won't provide assistance to injured workers who are in retraining programs? They're expected to get retrained for jobs they don't have while no income is coming in to the family!
Unbelievable!
